Terms of service.

By engaging with Foirfe Web Design, you agree to the terms outlined below. These terms exist to protect both parties and ensure transparency in how we work together.

General Terms

  • All work completed by Foirfe Web Design is subject to the terms outlined here and in your proposal or service agreement.

  • We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. The most current version will always be available on our website.

Ownership & Usage

  • Upon final payment, the completed website and any customisations made within Squarespace become your property.

  • Any design, copy, or media you provide must be owned by you or properly licensed. We do not take responsibility for the legal use of client-provided materials.

  • We reserve the right to showcase your completed website in our portfolio, social media, and marketing materials, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

Design Platform & Access

  • All websites are built using Squarespace. You are responsible for maintaining an active Squarespace subscription, which is billed directly by Squarespace.

  • During the design process, your website may be built within our developer account. It will be transferred to your own Squarespace account upon completion, or remain under our management if you’ve opted for ongoing support.

  • Ongoing access and support are optional and charged separately.

Payment Terms

  • A 50% deposit is required to secure your project in our schedule.

  • The remaining 50% is due upon final handover or site transfer.

  • We do not offer monthly payment plans unless specified in your proposal.

Refund Policy

  • As our work is service-based and time-intensive, all payments are non-refundable once work has begun.

  • If you cancel the project after the deposit is paid but before work begins, we may refund a portion at our discretion.

Support & Revisions

  • Each service package includes a set number of revisions and support, as outlined on our Services page.

  • Additional revisions or support may incur extra charges, which will be agreed upon in advance.

Squarespace Subscription & Additional Costs

  • You are responsible for ongoing Squarespace subscription fees and any third-party service costs (e.g., email platforms, payment processors).

  • We aim to be transparent about any expected additional costs before the project begins.

Marketing & Attribution

  • We may place a small credit link (e.g., “Designed by Foirfe Web Design”) in the footer of your website unless otherwise requested.

  • We may use screenshots or descriptions of your project in our portfolio and marketing efforts.

Legal & Liability

  • Foirfe Web Design is not responsible for business losses, missed leads, or technical issues caused by external services (e.g., Squarespace downtime or third-party tools).

  • It is your responsibility to review and approve your website before launch.
